Athlete of the Month (August 2015)

Athlete of the Month August
Name: Ally Crakes
Sport: Softball
Position(s): Pitcher
High School: Point Loma High School

Ally Crakes, is the starting pitcher for Point Loma High school’s varsity softball team. For the month of August, Ally has shown an intense dedication and improvement in her strength-training program. Over the summer, Ally was shut down under doctor’s orders from all jumping, running, core-engaging exercises and pitching! When she was finally cleared in August, she came in with a persistent and focused mindset to take her training to the next level. Taking complete ownership of her healthy physique, she has pushed herself to her fullest potential and goes all-out to challenge herself in every program. Way to own your development Ally, keep up the good work!

Favorite Food(s)/Meal: President Thai shrimp (shrimp wrapped in bacon and crispy noodles!)
Hobbies Outside of Sports: Watching Netflix.
Top 3 Movies:  Identity Thief, Vacation, Beauty & the Beast
Top 5 Musical Artists: I don’t have a particular artist; I just like pop music in general.
Secret Talents: I can do walking handstands.
Where do I see myself in 3-4 years: In college, playing softball and working. I want to work as a sports announcer or in the field of art therapy.
Biggest Pet peeve:  When I tell someone to close the door, and they don’t shut it all the way. Also, when people are running the bases and they slow down once they get close to the base...just keep running!
One Thing I Would Like to Do: Go to Disneyland (when it’s not busy) and move to Oregon or Washington.
Something you don’t know about me: The Ocean scares me and I have a stingray scar on my leg.
